Duplicated Contacts - Printable Version

I logged on to messenger today to find all my contacts and groups are duplicated in messenger. So I now have two copies of each group in my list, however not all contacts appear to be in the duplicated group, but there doesn't appear to be a pattern to the ones that are missing.
When I look in Hotmail or Mail (desktop) my contact lists are fine.
Anyone else experiencing this problem or anyone got a fix?

- Exit WLMessenger
- Delete the two contact caches (folders) corresponding with your passport in the following folders:
WinXP:
%userprofile%\contacts
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts
Windows Vista:
%userprofile%\contacts
%localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts
(these folders are hidden so make sure you turn on "show hidden files/folders")
