MSN problems by sam_helpneeded on 10-10-2007 at 07:26 PM

Hi guys

I don't know if this is the right place to post this problem, but I couldn't see anywhere else to post it, so here goes..

When I tried to log into my MSN messenger for the past few weeks, I couldn't log in. I haven't changed my password recently, and I've deleted all the Norton stuff I had but didn't use, but when i go into Add/Remove progams, Symantec stuff is still in there and i can't delete it. I went into the registry and deleted all the Norton stuff, but I didn't feel comfortable deleting the "Symantec" stuff as I dont really know what I'm doing.

I've looked at the Windows firewall and everything, and I'm really running out of patience. I work from home and I use MSN messenger to recieve files as I find it's quicker and easier than email.

I'll post the error message below, and thanks in advance if any of you can help.

This is the error message:

Error 80072efd

It should work,  because this error code is awfully familiar...I think it was this error code I got a few days ago!
