AFAIK iTunes doesn't necessarily like any old format. its MP4, MOV or nothing.

My friend uses a program called movie clone 4... He says it's pretty good, although not sure how much he paid for it.

Try taking a look at this, theres also a link to a more advanced version on there as well... but I think the basic one should work well enough.
