Hey everyone, I just registered to this forum. Messenger plus is a great program.
Ive used it for a couple of years.
I have noticed a few days ago, my messenger plus buttons in messenger went.
I have not changed any thing.
Can anyone help?

can you see "Plus!" in the menu bar or windows live messenger?
if you can see it, what does it say when you click on it?

Yeah I see Plus! at the top 
even in convorsations.

OK go Plus! -> Preferences -> Messenger -> Main -> under "Plus! Shortcuts" see if the option "Add Messenger Plus! Buttons in the Contact List" is ticked. If it is not ticked then put a tick there amd click OK.

1) What firewall and Anti-Virus are you using?
2) Any other addons like Stuffplug or MessengerDiscovery in use?
3) Any patches like Mess Patch applied?

1) Norton Internet Security/Norton Firewall. It is all allowed through.
2) Nope Nope. I dont download anything else than messenger plus for addons with messenger.

OK now uninstall Messenger Plus! and then reinstall it, ensuring you have the latest version from http://msgpluslive.net

hmmm are you absolutely sure none of these programs are installed:
MessengerDiscovery
Stuffplug
Sweetim
SmileyCentral
Messenger Air
WindowsBlinds
just check in your add/remove programs and see if anything come close to one of these.

I am so sure.
This is a new pc I am on, well fairly new 
and msgPlus worked perfectly on it.
so i dont know.

If it's a new pc, it's probably caused by some kind of drivers messing up with your processes. If you're sure you don't have anythign like Windows Blind, I suggest you try disabling a couple of software from your startup with msconfig until you find the culpirit.
I'm sorry I can'T help you personally on this right now but once version 4.500 will be released, if you continue to have the problem, I'll gladly analyse the problem with you.

Try using the new Windows Live Messenger 8.5 BETA instead.

Patchou, The thing is that it worked 1 day on the pc im on and then it didnt.
im confused.
