Hello.
Last hour I've made my own Christmas theme for the forums. I know there's more than a month to Christmas eve, but I like being early. I've used the current images, recolored them to red, and added some snow. I'm not really happy with the current snow under "Community Forums", I'll work more on that tomorrow.

To edit this CSS I've used the Webdeveloper extension for Firefox, but now I need to reload the file manually each time I visit this site. Is there any extension for Firefox that can replace URLs/stylesheets in documents?

The images are now hosted at Imageshack (I know, it's quite slow), so thanks for their free service.

So what do you think? Do you like it or not? This was just something fast I came up with, I'm not really proud of it.

Not really liking it.

A bit too much snow on the header text (Messenger Plus! Live) and too red(ish).

am i doing something wrong, or does it only work on index.php?

EDIT: no, dw, i just need to keep reloading it manually for some reason.

Imo, it looks more like a Remembrance Day thing...I would prefer last year's theme over this one...

Yeah, i love the snow and stuff, but change the icky red, maybe a light blue?

if you guys really want this theme to always work, why not use stylish and/or ad !important to each thing? =\

The snow on the bottom of the "Community Forums" bar needs to be looked at, from the screenshot I can still see bits of the box on the sides and small red streaks underneath. realise now that's to make it look like the snows fallen onto it, in which case, red streaks on bottom should be bigger, and sides still need tweaking.

I think this is great work. Good job... 8.6/10

Looks more of a pink to a red to me, and the snow on the logo and text looks kind of dodgy, nice try though.

Make the snow look more realistic.

The current color scheme is beautiful, so I won't mess it up anymore. However I've made an logo!

Just out of interest have you used Adobe Illustrator's harmony colours feature? tis a good way of keeping colour relative themes, hue sat etc but able to change colour schemes/pallettes

Also, I would use more green and yellow as well.

Aren't green and red usually associated with christmas?

It's good, although the animated can seem a little messy at times.

Why is this even up for discussion? If you're not happy, switch themes. It shouldn't matter to you that much. It's discussed way too many times for nothing. The general rule is that it stays that way for as long as there is snow in Montreal (where Patchou lives). So quit arguing, it's fine how it is. I doubt you spend enough time looking at that header to care all that much anyway.

lol, it was just a jokey commment made at some stupid hour of the night when i was bored and noticed it.

i can understand the snow-header staying until snow in patchou-land disappears......but the santa hat is xmas decoration, not winter theme.

i didn't say it was bothering me......it was more of a general observation.....didn't want patchou to be the receiver of bad luck as a result of leaving his xmas decorations up too long

glad to see that my one silly late night comment has given people something to talk about
