Floating contacts, bigger by francoisch on 11-16-2007 at 04:00 PM
hello
I do love the floating contacts function; almost perfect.
I would welcome any solution which would make each FC window bigger:
- resize it in height
- use a larger font
- make the characters bold
- ...
I am not old myself but I care for some aged persons which have trouble with these skinny contact window drawings.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Francois

The windows of Messenger Plus! adapt to the default Windows settings. If you want them to be bigger, you need to change Windows' options in consequence. On a computer used by older people, I guess that would be a good thing to do overall .

Thank you for your answer first.
Well, I actually shorten a little my word at first.
We all have around us partly disabled or handicapped persons, would it be by age, by illness, or other reason.
As an example, take multiple sclerosis sick persons.
To this account, every person is a single case in the sense that he / she needs specific fixes, on view, on ability to key in, on anything.
To this respect, the Windows accessibility functions are just not enough, too much kind of across the board solutions.
And, to come to it, Messenger would be very much welcomed by all these persons if / when it would start caring for them, not just for the 15-18 year old groupies.
So, if / when Msg+ will provide some nice little added functions to resize / rework floating contacts, this will be useful to a herd of usually silent persons.
I would do the job myself if I were able to build a script to do this.
Thank you in advance.
