Just a guess, but it looks like Verdana.

oh right, I thought it did cause on this computer it looks like verdana but on my dads its a tahoma style font.

They changed the font from Verdana to Tahoma a while ago, both has been used. Are you really running that old versions of Messenger?

I think its the other way around, they went from Tahoma to Verdana... let me see if I can check...
