The lightweight skin with Holiday themes! This lightweight skin fully colorizes with your Messenger's background color and doesn't touch any of the menu icons or status images.

Options of this skin:
- In the Log On screen there's an image added at the bottom right (Messenger buddy) which gets colorized by default.
Colorized means it will change color with the background color of your choice. This can be turned off if you prefer to let it keep its original color (as shown when you use Messenger's default color)
- NEW in version 1.10: Themes for Birthday, New Year, Valentine's, St Patrick, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas
- NEW in 1.20: Holiday themes of choice can be set automatically. 3 additional manual themes: Birthday, Celebration, Love

all skins i have seen until today are really great (Y).
i have to recognise that the idea to add this feature to the plus! is one of the best ideas of patchou.

Nice skin, finaly one that is compatible with the 9.0 release.

The only odd thing I've noticed is that it shows all the elements I removed using A-Patch... :(

My skin has been compatible with 9 since it's first release (the day Plus!4.50 got released) ;)

As for the things showing that you patched with A-Patch: what happens if you try that with Mess Patch? Not that i can do anything about it if it doesn't, just curious...

Sypher, My Beaver and Steve is compatible with 9.0 too.

as for Apatch, as explained time and time again Plus replaces the definitions/styles that patches edit so yes they will appear unpatched, The default aka no skin will still be your patched version.

I incorporate A-Patch's style of removing Dashboard buttons in Beaver and Steve btw ;) you just need to enable them in the options

Well since the only UIfile containing ads that i used for my skin is the one for the conversation window, you should still be able to patch the ads in other windows...


(not that i encourage patching)

He could have patched some other stuff like the links on the logon and DP sizes in contact list. I dunno how those DP patches work but that'd get replaced too  :)

If it's not independent of other resources which has been replaced by the skin. The patched version of the window will get loaded, but if it might not work correctly.

This happens when you are using a (very) low screen res (like 800x600) because that is the first thing Messenger cuts out/hides (you can see the sequence of that if you make the window smaller, just grab the bottom border with left mouse button and move it upwards). All other windows will look as in the screenshot, on low screenres. too.

Ok, this is fixed in version 1.11 (which will be in the Skins DB soon). Thanks Nile for helping me :cheesy:

I asked Nile to remove his fixed version as I always like to see and test it myself before releasing to the public.

Sunny had a bit of bother earlier, but I think we've got it all sorted now, so the sun can get some sleep without worry and let the moon take over the skies for a while :)

there's still a little problem with patch incompatibility, i think messpatch worked fine with the previous one,

it's just the chat window options that get messed up (no big deal as i just have the ad hidden and a sign-out button
