My new XP "Royale Live" skin based on the default theme for Windows XP Media Center Edition. RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by Matti on 12-19-2007 at 09:51 AM
Woa! That looks really nice! RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by NanaFreak on 12-19-2007 at 10:55 AM
thats looking awesome, just ytou shouldnt be removing the ads RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by Sunshine on 12-19-2007 at 11:21 AM
Don't use a patched messenger to skin on. If you are changing any UIFiles you will need to use the original unmodified resources (which can only be extracted correctly if you are using an unpatched messenger at the time you extract the resouces). RE: RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by davidpolitis on 12-19-2007 at 11:39 AM
quote:My emails in my signature anyway I suppose quote:I've told him already. He'll probably wait till hes finished to fix that up. Not too sure. XD RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by Sunshine on 12-19-2007 at 11:47 AM

quote:True. I'll get him to start working with fresh ones tomorrow Nice signature btw RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by raghav on 12-19-2007 at 12:58 PM Not bad , i guess you can remove/blur your contact list. RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by snAke_LeAder on 12-19-2007 at 01:29 PM nice RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by aNILEator on 12-19-2007 at 02:52 PM Looks good, got to say though that the image for the chat window toolbar background looks nasty though , maybe recreate that one, or edit it slightly, it seems too stretched out. RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by elmarian75 on 12-19-2007 at 03:05 PM looks very nice RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by Jimbo on 12-19-2007 at 03:20 PM Looks nice, the top white windows live messenger icon is a bit hard to see RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-20-2007 at 12:38 AM
Thanks guys RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by Dane on 12-20-2007 at 03:00 AM Excellent job on this skin, Ryxpia. Is this skin WLM 8.5 compatible only at this time? RE: [Under Development] WLMCE 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-20-2007 at 03:56 AM Unfortunately, since i don't have WLM 9.0 to test it on, it will be 8.5 only unless i really like the new version. RE: [Coming Soon] WLMCE 1.0 by aNILEator on 12-20-2007 at 10:35 AM Now you can follow my tutorial for min, max, close buttons and add XP royale style buttons RE: [Coming Soon] WLMCE 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-23-2007 at 01:32 AM
quote: Some of the resources from the msstyles are 32bit BMPs and unfortunately the close/min/max glyphs are among those. I don't know how to open these filetypes properly so it looks like it'll be vista buttons all the way, unless someone can get them to PNG successfully RE: [Coming Soon] WLMCE 1.0 by aNILEator on 12-23-2007 at 01:40 AM
Aww come on you're not pathetic. RE: [Coming Soon] WLMCE 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-23-2007 at 01:48 AM
I'm new to Photoshop and all my other image editors don't support 32bit bmps RE: [Released] WLMCE 1.0 by aNILEator on 12-23-2007 at 11:31 AM
I'm not back on my normal computer till the new year but I have a modded royale theme on this PC from XPize and thought that this image would suit as the heading for the chat window or contact list window. RE: [Released] WLMCE 1.0 by aNILEator on 12-23-2007 at 11:40 AM
Sorry for double post, but from the same logon for Royale, this might make a good main background image. RE: [Released] WLMCE 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-23-2007 at 09:22 PM thanks I'll use those instead of the dodgy stuff i have now RE: [Still Coming Soon] WLMCE 1.0 by Vimto on 12-23-2007 at 09:55 PM Looks hawt ;] RE: [Still Coming Soon] WLMCE 1.0 by aNILEator on 12-23-2007 at 11:23 PM
quote: You got eh min, max, close bar done yet? RE: RE: [Still Coming Soon] WLMCE 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-24-2007 at 02:34 AM
quote: Nope, unfortunately :/ I'll try it now. EDIT: New screenshot * ryxdp loves Paint.NET and its Reflection plugin RE: [Released!] WLMCE 1.0 by freddy12 on 12-24-2007 at 10:29 AM It says released But where can i download it from ? quote:Maybe PM me with it RE: [Released!] WLMCE 1.0 by aNILEator on 12-24-2007 at 02:10 PM It's still in testing freddy, it'll be released soon just wait around a bit, I'm sure there's a reason for ryx changing it to say Released RE: [Released!] WLMCE 1.0 by artfuldodga on 12-24-2007 at 04:27 PM
looks nice, although I'm not sure the DP containers look that great. RE: RE: [Released!] WLMCE 1.0 by davidpolitis on 12-24-2007 at 06:30 PM
quote:Yes. You're so special that you're going to get it before everyone else. -_- RE: [Released!] WLMCE 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-25-2007 at 04:44 AM Yes, I know it says released, but MenthiX told me I needed some <Compatibility> tags and whatnot (this has been done) plus I had to format my PC (stupid no-brand cardreaders ). I'm up and running now, so it won't be too long. RE: [Released!] WLMCE 1.0 by lohonam on 12-26-2007 at 01:44 PM ooo`where can i download it? it looks good....... quote:Not really. iCandy looks more like Y!M :/ RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by tony on 12-27-2007 at 05:02 AM Can i ask why you keep putting [released] in the thread without a download link? RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-27-2007 at 05:59 AM
It has been released, it just isn't public yet (as odd as it sounds...). But I'm sending it to the DB right now (while I'm typing this). RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by ipab on 12-27-2007 at 06:33 AM Looks really nice, well done . RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by Willz on 12-27-2007 at 06:57 AM good work very nice and clean design and suits xp really well. I'm sure everyone is gonna love this one. RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by artfuldodga on 12-27-2007 at 12:39 PM
Nice, keep working on it though RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-27-2007 at 09:05 PM
Well, it's FINALLY public! RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by ShawnZ on 12-27-2007 at 09:23 PM there's so much solid blue... RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by artfuldodga on 12-27-2007 at 11:52 PM
Pretty much suits my theme perfect. RE: RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-27-2007 at 11:59 PM
quote: If you don't like it you don't have to use it... quote: I will have a look at the theme, and you're welcome RE: RE: RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by Willz on 12-28-2007 at 12:03 AM
quote: You know what you should do is offer it in the Silver and Olive varations (like xp) that would make it rock even more. Of course you have to set up a few PlusSkin conditions but that isn't hard RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by ShawnZ on 12-28-2007 at 12:08 AM
quote: the royale theme doesn't have silver and olive... RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by Willz on 12-28-2007 at 12:11 AM i know it doesn't, I am just saying that its a good idea for those who use the default luna themes (since it does match xp nicely anyway). Just because royale doesn't have it doesn't mean its out of the question RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by artfuldodga on 12-28-2007 at 04:33 AM
Royale and Royale Modified XP themes are the best. RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-28-2007 at 06:54 AM
Colorization btw thanks for the link artfuldodga, I especially like the Black & Blue Substyle I may make a skin out of it. RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by artfuldodga on 12-28-2007 at 11:15 AM DP Containers - Same thickness as the Container in the main window, I wouldn't go any thinner than this. RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by ryxdp on 12-29-2007 at 09:53 AM More Info on RoyaLive! and my other planned skins is available in my first post RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by artfuldodga on 01-02-2008 at 05:57 PM
If you're making the buttons the same as the MCE Royale style, don't forget they have to be able to resize according to the size we all have set in our Windows Theme. You know so the buttons in Messenger aren't huge or off looking compaired to the rest of Windows. RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by aNILEator on 01-02-2008 at 10:29 PM
quote: I think that'd be a nice but 'too far' feature, maybe for a future version, but then people might argue well mine's even bigger because of DPI etc etc. RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by artfuldodga on 01-10-2008 at 03:30 PM
There is a slight design problem when you are viewing someones webcam using the 'Large' size view, the boarder of the DP Container is not done properly, at least it doesn't look right on my end. RE: RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by davidpolitis on 01-26-2008 at 01:39 PM
quote:He just got back from his holiday. Hes started working again though. I believe so RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by Greggroy on 01-30-2008 at 06:19 PM Great, one of the best I've seen! RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by artfuldodga on 02-23-2008 at 11:07 AM Will this skin's bugs ever be fixed? And not to sound bitter but here is a thought, don't put out a skin if you aren't going to support it... at all apparently. RE: [Released!] RoyaLive! 1.0 by Basilis on 02-23-2008 at 11:23 AM Everyone has the right to put out a skin. He is not obliged to support it at all. If you don't like it, you are free to use an other skin with no bugs or sth. And you forgot the fact that Ryxpia may not have time to support it. He released on Christmas, when he had time. |
