Contacts on the Desktop by Kittyburgers on 12-19-2007 at 11:29 PM

I really like the idea of contacts on the desktop.  However, I seem to have a problem with the display of the contacts when they are actually on the desktop.  It seems as though these is a graphics problem with the display of the little icon and text display.  It seems when I resume from hibernation/sleep that there are black blocks through the white text banner - as though the display needs to be refreshed.  Could this be some problem with the graphics driver?  Does anyone else experience this as well?

I can't confirm this, never had a problem. What versions of WLM and MP!L are you using?

Could you take a screenshot?

Note: if the screenshot appears ok, it means it is indeed a problem with your grpahics driver for sure. Else, it can still be the graphics driver though, but also Plus!, etc...

Btw: do you have Windows styling/skinning tools installed like WindowBlinds, etc?
What is your Windows version?

Yes, I will try to take a screenshot the next time I see this.

I am not using any skinning or Window blinds.  I am using the default Areo desktop on VISTA x64.

Nvidia Forceware driver 163.75 on a 7600 GT

I have a dual monitor setup with a resolution of 1680 x 1050

I managed to grab a screenshot, as I noticed today when I logged into my computer, the graphics were messed up.  Has anybody experieinced this?  It's obviously an issue with graphics (I use the lates Nvidia drivers), but this seeem to be the only application that has these sort of artifacts.  I can usually refresh the image by toggling "always on top", after which the image returns to normal.
