[Suggestion] Nickname repetition by Bubby! on 12-26-2007 at 10:54 PM
I've been searching around, and couldn't find anything related to this topic, so if there's some other thread about this, sorry.
I've seen this feature that allows you to send only once your nickname in conversations, until the other person replys, and the same happens with the other one's messages.
It would be kind of this:
Me says:
something
Me says:
something else
Me says:
nevermind
Other says:
something
Other says:
chit chat
Me says:
bleh
With this feature it would look like:
Me says:
something
something else
nevermind
Other says:
something
chit chat
Me says:
bleh
Just like when you hold shift and press enter, but without having to, and applying also to the other persons messages. It's kinda neat to read.
I've seen this in someone's else messenger, but that person doesn't know from where he got it, and I couldn't find anything similar.
If anyone knows of a plugin that can make this I would appreciate, but I think it would still be better into MsgPlus.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this. Hope someone can help.

It's in Windows Live Messenger itself..
Tools -> Options -> Messages -> "Group sequential messages from each contact together"

This is in WLM already in the options and is under the option "Group sequential chat messages together" (or something similar)
EDIT: Too slow lol

Now's the time when I feel somehow stupid. Thanks
