Yeah, why the hell is there a reply button on threads of Poll Center forum if we are not allowed to reply there anyway?

Edit: Why don't you remove it like you did for closed threads?

No need to be so rude :undecided:. It's there because that's how the forum works already, when you click, you're told you can't reply. So it's fine.

I dunno if there's some reason why the button isn't hidden when you don't have permission to post replies... I checked MyBB 1.2 and it works the same way... hmm :p

How about an option to (dis)allow replies when you create a poll?
I've seen it on other fora and in some cases it's quite convenient to be able to explain your vote.

what does that have to do with the ability to reply? what if none of the options were valid for you and you want to explain your vote?

I see the logic in the poll centre, but sometimes i need to reply, and when I can't reply, it annoys me :P

I rarely see web polls with a comment/feedback system, so why should this be any different? :p If the author of a poll wants replies, they can put their poll in the appropriate forum like GCC, Tech Talk, etc.

If a poll doesn't have an option that suits you, you can simply not vote. =o

(Or post a "self-split" thread, or send a PM...)
