I just noticed that when Messenger is locked, the Contact Invitation/Acceptance window pop up and isn't hidden.

You will find the address of this currently-not-fixed bug in changelog of build 304 in Beta site.

But official site's changelog doesn't say anything for 9.0, so I had thought it has been fixed for 9.0 as well.

it's something that was fixed in 4.50 but for Messenger 8.x only.
