Sorry for the double post, but: quote: RE: RE: RE: Codename "27-01-08" by Willz on 01-26-2008 at 10:43 PM
quote: Please restart your computer, as I think there may be an issue when the skin tries to replace the Plus! toasts with my own custom ones. I'm not entirely sure of the cause of this but it seems to be random. At any rate thanks for all the comments everyone. I already knew from the beginning that this skin wasn't going to be everyone's cup of tea but thats ok. Everyone has their own tastes so its all good. The point of the skin was to refine some code that I use and to try out some new things. Anyway enjoy, I'm off for a few hours as its my birthday I'll update the first post later to include a series of screen shots. RE: Release [Zero-G] by banky on 01-26-2008 at 10:54 PM
quote: Try going to "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Skins\Zero-G" And double click the file ZeroMonkeys.reg it'll ask if you want to add the information click yes.. Restart msn and the ad's will be gone. RE: RE: RE: RE: Codename "27-01-08" by Justin on 01-26-2008 at 11:01 PM

RE: Release [Zero-G] by Justin on 01-26-2008 at 11:52 PM Still not working, the only skins there are the ones i made. RE: Release [Zero-G] by banky on 01-27-2008 at 12:10 AM

Same thing still happens, would it have caused problems if messenger was locked while i imported the skin? RE: RE: Release [Zero-G] by Matt-in on 01-27-2008 at 12:30 AM

OK then, but will i need 2 reinstall all my old scripts? I have tons of display names stored on a script i dont want to lose them either, if so i aint going to bother. RE: RE: Release [Zero-G] by davidpolitis on 01-27-2008 at 01:27 AM

Willz... why the tinge feature doesn't work in toasts??? RE: Release [Zero-G] by mattumanutd on 01-27-2008 at 06:17 PM WOWWW mate lovely skin, needs abit of work on the max, min, close buttons, theyre abit dodgy... HAPPY BIRTHDAY RE: Release [Zero-G] by Em3kay on 01-28-2008 at 01:04 AM
quote:The tinge feature was a late implementation. As for its functionality in later versions I'm not certain. However I'm very happy with how it is at the moment. as for the min max close.... Dodgy? Needs work? What? You're kidding. RE: RE: Release [Zero-G] by warmth on 01-28-2008 at 03:49 AM
quote:and you are??? RE: Release [Zero-G] by Willz on 01-28-2008 at 03:54 AM lol everyone meet mk he helped design the skin. And yes tinge wasn't meant to work on toasts for technical reasons (one being that I couldn't be stuffed fully editing the plus toasts) RE: Release [Zero-G] by vaccination on 01-28-2008 at 07:47 AM

The min, max, close buttons are fine as it is, if its not broken why fix it RE: Release [Zero-G] by Basilis on 01-28-2008 at 09:56 PM I agree with duck!.Indeed, I think that the min max close buttons are the best in Zero-G. I mean they have a great design RE: Release [Zero-G] by lizard.boy on 01-29-2008 at 02:51 AM I love this skin! Does anybody else feel the need to cover everything on their desk in carbon fiber? quote:I wanna do this to my g15 gaming, where can i buy the right stuff? RE: Release [Zero-G] by Em3kay on 01-29-2008 at 01:36 PM
it comes as a roll, i saw some on ebay, and you mark out the dimentions, roll it out, cut it and literally stick it on, it has its own adhesive but i might mix some epoxy or something to secure it harder around the edges RE: Release [Zero-G] by Greggroy on 01-30-2008 at 06:16 PM Best skin so far, currently using it RE: Release [Zero-G] by Matt-in on 02-10-2008 at 08:17 PM
Im In love With The Skin Though I wonder it could have been a little bit brighter to the gray tone just like in the EVO one And I dont know this is a perfect skin I appreciate it but I would also more likely tell my opinion about it. I would like it much better if the Button's Glow effect could be brighter in order to see which icon is it Everything else is perfectly done RE: Release [Zero-G] by Em3kay on 02-17-2008 at 03:06 PM
concepts on a brighter version have started being made. primarily working on it to cater for everybody's love for lighter tones etc. RE: Release [Zero-G] by :No-Frost: on 02-20-2008 at 05:54 PM
How can I use this skin with the mess patch and the A-Patch on them??? RE: RE: Release [Zero-G] by warmth on 02-20-2008 at 07:25 PM
quote:banner can be **moved... search in the skin folder for a .reg file and run it... RE: Release [Zero-G] by :No-Frost: on 02-27-2008 at 02:02 AM
Another question, I still maintain the option used by the mess patch and the A-Patch??? RE: RE: Release [Zero-G] by Willz on 02-27-2008 at 02:07 AM
quote: Patches don't work, ill explain why. Patches directly modify messengers dll's and the way Plus Skins work is that they go on top the dll's. So say you patch your contact list with messpatch, once Zero-G is loaded it overrides all current contact list definitions with its own. It's not something that can be changed unfortunately its just how things are. Its good in a way because if it didnt work this way you would run into problems really quick. RE: Release [Zero-G] by warmth on 02-27-2008 at 04:22 AM
quote:I advice you to don't use any patcher if you are going to use a skin... cause can interfer with the good looking of your wlm client... te aconsejo no usar ningun patcher junto con un skin... porq puede interferir con el buen funcionamiento del wlm... y quizas hasta se te vea horrible... note: when you wanna ask me something in spanish... do it by pm next time .... I will answer you with no problems my friend... RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by Willz on 03-25-2008 at 11:23 PM
Version 2.0.0 is officially out now. RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by Justin on 03-25-2008 at 11:26 PM Wow, wasn't expecting that! Zero-G is my most preferred skin out of your others. I'll download when I get the time. RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by blackjack on 03-26-2008 at 12:22 AM
Great! ill try this later RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by NiteMare on 03-26-2008 at 12:50 AM
i've found 2 problems so far: RE: RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by Willz on 03-26-2008 at 12:55 AM
quote: Lol @ error 1. Shows how tired i was last night. Fixed it, I should post an update later tonight . Error #2, status images only show when you have the "Show Tiny Display Picture" option turned on. In my contact list its fine RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by NiteMare on 03-26-2008 at 12:59 AM
quote: but then it shows the display picture which i don't really care for, i liked it when it was a little MSN dude, is no way you can do that? edit: Ah, got it, Good Job! RE: RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by Willz on 03-26-2008 at 01:06 AM
quote: ohhhh that um all you had to do was untick "Hide contact list buddy". RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by NiteMare on 03-26-2008 at 02:31 AM
lol, yeah i saw that afterwards RE: RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by Willz on 03-26-2008 at 02:51 AM
quote: Its due to the layering system. There is an image under the min max close buttons (the faded lines) and that pushes the nickname back slightly. Its more of a technical limitation than a bug. RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by NiteMare on 03-26-2008 at 03:06 AM does the image have to be that large? it seems like empty space RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by Eddie on 03-26-2008 at 01:52 PM
i have found a bit of an issue...as can be seen in the image below when using Dark Blue colorization the writing is very hard to read in the popup I know it is obvious which button is which but yeah. RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by CanadianOriginal on 03-26-2008 at 07:45 PM
I use Plus! custom notifications to popup whenever a contact goes offline. When using the default Messenger look with no skin, the popup reads "<user> signed out". When I use the Zero-G skin, the contact's user name is readable, but the added information is too light to see properly. Even if I enter a custom message for the notification, only the name is readable. RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.0] by Willz on 03-27-2008 at 11:01 AM
Version 2.0.1 has been uploaded now. RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.1] by CanadianOriginal on 04-02-2008 at 09:53 PM
This is sort of an alternate request to something I mentioned here. RE: RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.1] by Willz on 04-02-2008 at 11:40 PM
quote: Don't think its possible since all the status is is whatever messenger sees the contact as being. Since messenger doesn't have a "online - blocked" status in its strings and you can't combine two because all you would get would be "online - online" or "blocked - blocked". The only way I could see if happening would be by making some kind of script or something, but yeah with what is in Messenger I don't think you can do it. RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.1] by ~THA Shade~ on 05-16-2008 at 06:01 PM
Hullo RE: RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.1] by Willz on 05-17-2008 at 12:37 AM
quote: Most likely because your window is too small. It happens when you change that toolbar as much as I did. I'll throw in some size restriction sometime so that you can't make it happen. So yeah I wouldn't worry too much about it. Thanks for the report anyway. RE: Release [Zero-G Version 2.0.1] by Shiny Rabbit on 05-28-2008 at 10:26 AM

quote: The options panel is already big screenshots would only make it worse. The reg file you are after was taken out of Zero-G just so ad removal is not encouraged. But I'm sure if you look for it on a certain website you'll find what you are looking for |
