The 27th of January will be a big day in my calendar. Not only does it mark my 20th birthday but it also means the release of a new skin.

For those who of you who are wondering, no my next skin is not Windows Aero Messenger so that theory can be thrown out the window. The skin has Zero gname until tomorrow.

No Previews, No Insight.....

P.S. Sometime on the 27th I don't want smart asses going "It's the 27th where the skin!"

I think it is very cool.

Its not working for me, it says 'some of files are locked and cannot be updated please restart messenger to complete instalation'. I do that then it says 'script cannot be loaded'.

A screenshot like that is allowed, the person who made it could have used something like messpatch/a-patch too.

Try going to "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Skins\Zero-G"

And double click the file ZeroMonkeys.reg it'll ask if you want to add the information click yes.. Restart msn and the ad's  will be gone.

OK then, but will i need 2 reinstall all my old scripts? I have tons of display names stored on a script i dont want to lose them either, if so i aint going to bother.

Edit: Yes i am using the newest version of messenger 8.5.1302.1018

Edit 2: Its doing the same for all skins i download.

The tinge feature was a late implementation. As for its functionality in later versions I'm not certain. However I'm very happy with how it is at the moment.

lol everyone meet mk he helped design the skin. And yes tinge wasn't meant to work on toasts for technical reasons (one being that I couldn't be stuffed fully editing the plus toasts)

it comes as a roll, i saw some on ebay, and you mark out the dimentions, roll it out, cut it and literally stick it on, it has its own adhesive but i might mix some epoxy or something to secure it harder around the edges

make sure you leave extra because you will find your self using more than you intended.

Im In love With The Skin Though I wonder it could have been a little bit brighter to the gray tone just like in the EVO one And I dont know this is a perfect skin I appreciate it but I would also more likely tell my opinion about it. I would like it much better if the Button's Glow effect could be brighter in order to see which icon is it Everything else is perfectly done

concepts on a brighter version have started being made. primarily working on it to cater for everybody's love for lighter tones etc.

however this does not mean you will be seeing it soon. Willz is a busy, lots of things going on at the moment.

New version includes a 3 new color themes:

Light
Dark Blue (colorizable)
Light Blue (colorizable)

On top of the new options have been added to the skin to make it better than before.

does the image have to be that large? it seems like empty space

i have found a bit of an issue...as can be seen in the image below when using Dark Blue colorization the writing is very hard to read in the popup I know it is obvious which button is which but yeah.

I use Plus! custom notifications to popup whenever a contact goes offline. When using the default Messenger look with no skin, the popup reads "<user> signed out". When I use the Zero-G skin, the contact's user name is readable, but the added information is too light to see properly. Even if I enter a custom message for the notification, only the name is readable.

But with the "Show contacts' status next to their name in teh contact list" option enabled, would it be possible to display the actual status of a blocked contact in addition to the "Blocked" tag?

I just downloaded the skin and I gotta say its really cool, I like it =]
But, I've found something that should be fixed:



The icons in the panel above the conversation window are hiding each other, the left side is ok but there are 2 icons that cannot be clicked on the right.

If someone already said that, then im sorry, didnt go through all those pages

oh my god i can't believe i have been denying myself this skin for so long, well i never was a fan of dark skins, i thaught i'd play around with this and i love it maybe better than WAM

i ws going to ask you, may i use resources from it (with credit) to make an alert skin to fit in with it for the upcoming messenger discovery 1.5?

i cant believe i failed to notice this skin, its pretty hot =p
i have to admit, it is a bit confusing what all the options mean. i know there's tooltips and all but we dont all have the IQ you do

its probably not possible but...a preview area in the options?
