Recently, when I plug my charger into my laptop, it will charge normally but sometimes, the power from the charger cuts out for a second then comes back on (the battery light on the laptop its static green then will go out for a second then come back on and the brightness due to the power saving changes). Is there something wrong with the charger or battery?
Also, when the laptop is off it is fine and when the battery is fully charged it doesn't happen.
I have posted on the Dell support forums but no replies yet.

It could be some loose cable on your charger/laptop...

My Gfs laptop did this every 1-3 seconds and now it only works without the battery so that would be my first guess, rather than the charger

I recently bought a new charger cos my old one blew. I tried the charger on another laptop and it worked fine.
Basically, when I plug the charger in to charge the battery it would be fine, then after say bout 15mins or so it will start happening. Then it would do it every 1-3 seconds. And yeh it works fine without the battery in. I am thinking its the battery too but they cost around £50 - £60 to replace. What are the chances of a connection being loose rather than the battery failing?

[Edit] Ok, little update. When the battery was fully charged it still happened then when I took out the battery, it happened making the laptop turn off (twice) so its the connection. Best way to fix it?
