I was thinking about this, and I think it could be quite useful to have an add command. Simply /add <phone number/email>
The phone number is because you can add contacts by mobile number now. This could come in handy when people are giving you the address of a contact. I would use it

There's a Quick Contact Adder script incase you didn't know .
But I think it would be a good built-in feature to be added to MP!L

Can you not add from the contact list's search box? Just type in the e-mail address, then the Add Contact button next to it.

I thought it used to say "Cannot find contact, click here to add".
not the button on the right (which is what you referred to initially).
