please could someone help me.
my msn messenger keeps signing me out. just as i say hi to people it signs me out. so i have to wait for them to talk to me. and even then it still signs me out. i dont know what this is and i was wondering if people could help me or tell me if this is happoening to them. thanks

Have you modified your msn? Or tried re-installing it?

i havent done anthing to the msn. and i have tryed re-installing it but it keeps on doing it.

Well "MSN" can do that sometimes. However there is a chance that its you Internet connection. Are you  wired or wireless?

i have wireless. but for no reason it just signs me out.
it does it like every minute when i am talking. but only once when i am not talking

Might be a (brief) drop in signal strength/quality. WLM might detect it as a lost connection

but it doesnt happen to my brother.
when my brother is online it never happens to him but it happens to me and a couple of my friends.

Differnet wireless adapter?

Being serious now, my friend Sophie (fit as fuck) has it to. Doesn't happen as much to her sister (also fit as fuck). She's got no idea and neither do I.

the thing is that it never happens to my brother when he signs on instead of me on the same computer.

MSN keeps signing out?

Shut down Windows Live Messenger.

Click Start
Click Run
Enter: %appdata%\microsoft
Click OK.

Then right click the MSN Messenger folders, choose Delete, and then confirm the operation.

I have a similar, but even more complicated problem and actually didnt find any useful advice online so far, even I was browsing the net and googling for hours.....

it acually never helped in the end.
it worked for 2 days then it did it again.
i have now switched back to one of the old msns.

Does Messenger just sign you out but allows u to easily sign in again. Or are you having trouble signing back in once you've been signed out?

If you're having trouble signing back in, what error message(s)/code(s) is Messenger giving you?

it lets me sign back in again. it comes up with the time thing. i dont know the code as i use a different msn now. and i deleted messenger live.

I am still having problems with this again

It just says 'Your lost connection with Windows Live Messenger has been lost. Reconnecting in 0:30' or some other time when it signs me out. so anoying

Please, give me this information:
*Have you other WLM addons (like MessengerDiscovery Live, StuffPlug, etc...)?
*What is your WLM version (including build number)?
*Have you a Firewall activated?
*What is your anti-virus?

Ive started getting the same problem with it saying its lost connection then signing back in.

* No plug ins or addons
* Windows live messenger 8.5 (downloaded the other day from the official wlm site)
* Firewall is activated.
*Windows firewall and AVG. Checked both firewall settings but not interfiering. Always had the same firewalls but no problems before.
