There's a page in the documentation called Skinning Messenger Plus! Itself. RE: Skinning plus! itself by markee on 03-19-2008 at 07:25 AM
quote:NanaFreak tried to do it, but had some problems with titles and stuff. I think Patchou was going to try and fix the problems but he hasnt had a chance to do it yet with 4.50 RE: Skinning plus! itself by Willz on 03-19-2008 at 08:00 AM
Skinning Plus is not a friendly process just yet as it is works a bit different to how Windows Live Messenger is skinned. It's just a matter of know where things are at and how to work with the interface (which I am still trying to figure out at the moment ) RE: Skinning plus! itself by markee on 03-19-2008 at 08:53 AM
quote:It follows the same methods as the script interfaces, which is pretty straight forward and customizable. However this is different from skinning the likes of messenger. RE: RE: Skinning plus! itself by Willz on 03-19-2008 at 09:04 AM
quote: Yeah I'm just really used to Messengers way of doing things old habits die hard One of the issues for me is that there is no conditional resource replacements, so a skin like Ev0 (which uses color themes) would not be able to be done properly in Plus! with the current system. Its sort of the reason why the most i've skinned in Plus is just the Alerts toast. RE: Skinning plus! itself by markee on 03-19-2008 at 09:16 AM
quote:In 4.50 there was the addition of being able to colorize images to what the current color is set for messenger. This can be partly applied to the images or it can be nothing, or always slightly changing the sat, hue and brightness as a constant. I don't think this works perfectly with skins, but with the addition of a script then we might b able to do something about that.... it wouldn't be easy though....
