Currently Messenger Plus can save chat logs in two ways.
These are
- MonthName Year/contact@mail.com.ple
- contact@mail.com/Month Year.ple
If you use the program for two years, created folders/files ordered like below when you look at chat logs.
code:Can't you add an filename option like 2008-04 or more dynamic date formats like "%Y-%m"
April 2007
April 2008
August 2007
February 2007
February 2008
January 2007
January 2008
July 2007
June 2007
March 2007
March 2008
May 2007
......
So the files ordered like:
code:
2007-01
2007-02
2007-03
...
2007-10
2007-11
2007-12
2008-01
2008-02
2008-03
2008-04

This has been discussed many times. Although this will not be done by default in Plus! (because it is like this for years) you can apply a registry setting, namely LogsDateDirFormat to do what you want.
