i've had trouble with them. i dont think i ever changed the passwords either
when msn became Live messenger did it delete alot of old msn accounts or can I still some how get into my old msn accounts?
they were created back in 2002 and 2003..

They only changed the name of Messenger, that's all. It doesn't affect any of your accounts, they all stay the same. They wasn't deleted because of the name change.
If you don't know the password, tried going on forgot password + secret question?
If you set an alternative email address, you can reset your password through the alternative account.

They may delete accounts when the user doesn't sign in with in 120 days, 3 months. They probably deleted your accounts.
If it doesn't recognize your address as a valid address in the Forgot Password page, then it means that your address has been deleted. You can signup for it again.
