well my cousin sells heaps of them, when i was looking to but one i was expecting around $30, he said if your not paying over $50 for it, they don't seem to last very long, i can't remember which brand he recommended, but he said you do get what you pay for

Thanks mate, will look into it (Y) Can you get them at all "good retailers" or only specific stores?

Sorry for double post, with that belkin thing all i constantly see is bad reviews, maybe it would just be better for me to change my cars head unit *-)

look for the ipodlounge.com review... mine sounds pretty good (no transmitter will sound excellent, they are fm transmitters, after all), 3 meters from the antenna in the car.

Well i only have a small car so it would be extremely close the to antenna lol...i think i may just go for a head unit instead *-)

get a car radio with a line-in.

my dad has one built in his car. It's awesome and not just limited to an iPod so your friends can also connect their mp3 player to your car radio.

line-in+usb > line-in > usb

yeah, i think thats what i mean by getting a new head unit, but in my terms not that utterly confusing one  thanks though (Y)

I always hear about those FM transmitters and problems with interference. Buy a P2 male-male cable and plug into the radio.
It's a lot cheaper and you don't waste the battery.
