I don't like replying for others but I remember Patchou tell us how working on Messenger Plus! Live was like a full time job and required a lot of commitment. Thus he isn't working on anything else. He barely has time to arrange all the contests after all the work

So as of now to my knowledge, no he isn't doing anything and hasn't done anything as major as MP!L

I believe he made a no cd crack for a game once.

IIRC he helped out with Spleak before it became a tabloid whore .
Smarterchild it is...
My guess is that the window hook was done by him, although I'm not entirely sure...

That and of course his ever famous dance pop routine video ... (google patate spears)...

What i was remembering is the "Interactive Agents Plugin" created by Patchou for ActiveBuddy (Messenger 5 News). ActiveBuddy had a bunch of namechanges and is now owned by Microsoft, but at the time they had Smarterchild: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colloquis

Spleak was created years later, so we're both right .

I worked on Smarterchild's code. As for Spleak, it was more a "consulting" thing.

One software I did before Plus! was called IRC Log Viewer. It was a fun little project, taught me lots of things about software developement. And now, well, I'm working on something very new and very different. More about it during summer .
