Ok, this has been bugging me for a long time
When you get ur live messenger all set up, something happens and you get a new computer or have to re-install windows or live messenger.
Why does one lose everything they have put into it?
Seems it is a simple fix to make sure your stuff is always there.
After all, NOW the display pic always stays the same!
Does anyone have a clue?
This is a pissy simple thing to fix, why can't MSN do it?

It would take up a HUGE amount of server space to store it all; simple. Displays pics being kept on servers probably uses a shit load already...

This backup program I found very easy, which you can use if formatting hard drive or new pc.
