I like it. However, I found 2 errors:

The StuffPlug button in the chat window taskbar is stretched too wide.
There is no display pictures hider. So, when I had DPs hidden in the convos, and enabled your skin, I couldnt unhide them without changing skin first.
No contact's PSM in the chat window header is by design?

However, apart from that, well done so far!

Loving it, very nice job mate! (H) Maybe add an option for the user to change the display pictures back to the right hand side? But yeah, love it!

I'm finding this practically flawless, but here is one problem mate, when I have show now playing information, you cannot read what my personal message says...

I didn't know it was possible to move the DPs from right to left. That's cool.

However, apart from that, well done so far!

1: ~~StuffPlug's using it's own images so i don't think i could change that~~ fixed
2: ~~Will add an option to use the display picture hider~~ added hider

what the hell? i accually typed words here

anyway i said the PSM and email should go underneath the toolbar and maybe be in segoe UI font, same sort of style as the user's nick in the contacts list, maybe have the option to use the normal style buttons (mainly to fix compatibility with MD and SP or if you just like the old style buttons)

also, do you have an ad remover for this?

There are a couple of methods you can use to edit the stuffplug buttons to your own style. They are a bit dodgy, but it gets the job done. You just have to think outside the square a bit

I've deleted ad from the chat window and I've changed the chat divider resizer's, to make the background more visible. (Y)

the menu bar isn't on

edit: oh, i forgot, i can't drag the conversation window around to move it, even if i activate the menu bar it doesn't work.

strange, works perfectly on all pcs that i installed it on..
may be a problem with Messenger .. what are those borders around the window?

I don't know, they are always on. Check this picture.

edit: LOL, i feel stupid, menu bar was indeed set to "ON" but wasn't visible, but it acted like it was. (Weird, since i never turned it on). I turned it off now and works perfectly. Sorry for wasting your time and thanks for making a pretty good looking skin.

Great job with this skin. Looks really nice.
But, two questions:

1. I've hidden the display pictures to test "the thing" and now I cannot get them back. How can I do this?

2. Could you include an option to align display pictures to right again? I mean... in the conversation window.
Microsoft had put them left in the first betas but we are not sure that it will be like this in the final release... I prefer it aligned to the right.

But could you just add an option to "re-unhide" the display pictures when we accidentally (and by accidentally I mean testing all that stuff) hide it? If it happens we need to get back to another skin, unhide the avatars, then apply your WLM2009 skin back. Which is annoying.

simple,

Open your 920 style and search for "convhistory"
then at the bottom of that block, add in "Alpha:0;"

oh to remove the borders, change the borderthickness under 'historyveil' (which is right above convhistory) to "borderthickness:rect(0,0,0,0);"

How hard is it to hue adjust a display picture border and make a small square image with some gloss? The UI hasn't changed that much.

How hard is it to hue adjust a display picture border and make a small square image with some gloss? The UI hasn't changed that much.

what i do with the screenshots if i wanted to make my own image is to just get the colour using the colour picker lol

you can't make one version of wlm work like another its technically impossible. Its like saying hey lets all of a sudden turn windows 98 into xp or vista and make it work the same as well.

If you want it to look and work like wlm 9, well then just get wlm 9. roflmao was just doing this for those who don't like to use beta software or don't like some of the new stuff that 9 brings.

It might have been already asked,but could you please make the "dot before each message " option available? Somehow I really liked that feature
Or the option to hide those ugly green buddy icons before the contacts' names? (You know,like in the real 2009 version: only the display pictures and the contact info can be seen)

Other than these above mentioned "problems" I really like your skin.
To be honest,this is the best skin I've used so far
