I've been working on a new skin recently 
The contact list is the only thing at the moment that is almost complete.

Background behind the nick and status looks weird.
You didn't fix the corners.
I'm sure it has potential , but it needs improvement

the glows look cut off on some of the icons. The list area still needs work, but I know you are still working on it so yeah. Nice start though.

Looks similar to what I'm working on, although yours is nicer
