Am trying to install windows live messenger on my machine and it doesnt go through..it gives me an error message of ....The ordinal 730 could not be located in the dynamic binary SHELL32.dll.?

Is there any way that i would install it ?

You should install the .msi of wlm, the normal setup doesn't work.
With the newest WLM Beta it's getting a bit more complicate because you have to install certain msi's that are in the Windows Live Installer, but i suppose you don't need that. (if you need it, i can explain the whole process to you)

Tardz..Kindly help me on ways to install the .msi of wlm that you mention. I have been having this comp for like 8 months and i have run out of ideas on installing any IM in this machine. It only supports skype which am bored with at the moment.

here is a link to the msi (otherwise known as the 'standalone installer') for WLM 8.5

Download the file and then just double click it and follow the install instructions and it should work for you
