We all have seen or at least heard about iPods, when i first heard about them, i ran into an iCon store with a $100 and i bought a shuffle, but it wasn't what I really wanted, i wanted a Classic iPod anyway, i ended up  buying the shuffle and it got fuc@!# xD so i saved money for a few years and now i have an iPod Touch it's freaking great!!! i recommend it or buy a 4th generation iPod Classic or nano which are great too

My phone can play music, why would I carry two devices around?

The older gen ipod's did suck. I had a 40gb photo ipod and it only lasted a year and a half before it just died. I had another 3 friends who had theirs die around the same time as mine. I also used to work at an electronics place and you would be amazed at the amount of faulty ipods that used to come back back then.

I used to use my 6280 to play music but that died not long ago. I have an iphone now and I do like it in terms of usability. Yes being forced to use itunes and not being able to just simply copy music off my iphone to the pc is tedious. But meh you live with it, jailbreaking helps you not care anymore. If anyone was to get an ipod I would tell them to get a flash based one.

I've have had my 5th Gen video ipod for probably more than 3 years now, and its still like new.

yeah that sucks.... i don't like the fact that you can't use your iPod touch or iPhone as a hard Drive.... but i do know how to copy your iPhone's music to your PC you need iDump it's freeware just google it>download>install>enjoy it also solves that Syncing problem when you are trying to take your friend's music

I have a ipod nano and a ipod touch. They are named and they are good for music and i wouldnt sell dem.
