emoticons not showing - Printable Version

I downloaded messenger live plus 4.7 and in my contacts under help I read its messenger 8.5 and every contact I have can see my emoticons but i dont receive any I only read the code I write to activate the emoticon, so what can I do??

In WLM Menu, Go to Tools -> Options...
In Options screen, under "Messages" options there is a checkbox for "Show emoticons". Please make sure that it is "Checked" and the emoticons should work.
