<Matthew> I got a computer virus a few days ago, it uninstalled most of my programs. I removed the virus and reinstalled my programs, including MSN and Messenger Plus.

I had to keep reinstalling it everytime I want to use it.

Have SweetIM and/or SmileyCentral installed? PLEASE READ
Read this as it can cause the problem you are describing

It wasn't one of those, but I followed the instructions and it fixed it.

Ok, the problems occuring again, but differently.
It was working fine since that fix, until now. Now MSN works for few minutes but then suddenly lags out, when it did that I loaded MSN again and Messenger Plus had uninstalled itself! Now even without Messenger Plus, MSN still lags out after a few minutes...
