Display Name/Personal Message Problem - Printable Version

Problem:
I logged into WLM, changed Display name/Personal message. Log out, and it reverts back to default.
Tried:
Signing in under different statuses (Away, Busy, Online, Offline, etc)
Signing in under different usernames/email accounts
Changing Display name/Personal message via right click option,
tools/options and in-chat command shortcuts
Uninstall/Reinstall of WLM and MP!
All to no avail...
I don't use SmileyCentral or SweetIM, so that stuff doesn't apply to me.
Details:
OS: WinXP Home Ed. Ver. 2002 SP 2
WLM: Ver. 2008 (Build 8.5.1302.1018)
MP! : Ver. 4.70.0.334 (Released: 8/9/2008)
Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
