Recently I was rather tormented by the fact that a pretty girl I added refused to appear online in my MSN contact list.
Dejected, I thought that she has been blocking me. Till recently to my joy, it turned out that she was online all along,and wasn't blocking me,it is just that even when chatting with her she is in offline mode.Everyone else can see her online except for me, and it is confirm that she isn't offline nor did she blocked me.
I did a detailed check and I realized that she isn't the only one that I can never see online. There are around 3 ppl that I couldn't see online.
Is there any suggestions or help?

If nothing appears in the folder, click the Tools > Options >View tab, click 'Show hidden files or folders' and click OK. Once youare able to see the folders, right-click the one that corresponds toyour Passport and choose Delete.
Next, click Start > Run, and type:
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts

Remove the corresponding folder again in this folder.
Restart Messenger and try signing in again.
