is there a way to block the ads or popups on messenger?

Never heard of popups on messenger other than the Today popup which can be disabled in the Options window.
Ads can be taken out by using a patch (Mess patch, a-patch), or by using a Skin which has a secret option to do it.

what I mean by ad is one at bottom, under contacts by search bar, seems to always be an annoying ad that when u touch it it opens up
how to disable it or keep them away

PS: With this Patch you can remove other buttons as it has more opitions...
