So you will have too re-download it http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ RE: Vista Recovery. by vaccination on 01-02-2009 at 08:20 PM Surely you still have a copy on the pc if you just burned a cd from it? quote: Files DO NOT delete themselves, least not disc image files. Unless you have the source that generated said disc image, no... you can't get it back again without download an (unreliable) file recovery utility. Your best option is to either download from the Internet, or acquire another copy of the Windows installation disc RE: RE: Vista Recovery. by Chunk1993 on 01-02-2009 at 09:13 PM

Is this an OEM laptop? What brand is it? RE: Vista Recovery. by MeEtc on 01-03-2009 at 03:48 AM
Yes, it is quite possible it deleted itself. I have an OEM desktop from Compaq, and it came with a recovery partition for Vista. There was an option to burn recovery disks at the expense of removing the recovery data from the partition permanently. I myself just formatted the whole drive an put on XP anyway so it doesn't affect me at all. RE: Vista Recovery. by Chunk1993 on 01-03-2009 at 12:33 PM
