So i downloaded msn 9, it didnt work and came up with error 8000ffff, so i installed contacts.msi and wlmlogin.msi (or whatever its called) and everything else, and now it comes up with error 80004002.  ive tried deleting all the dll's, still wont work. i read threads about reinstalling it i have and had to go through the same process of downloading contacts.msi and still the same problem. im kinda getting just that little bit peeved off...

forgot to say, i like when it comes up with 80004002 i type in the commands into cmd that other people have suggested then it comes up with 8000ffff so i install contacts.msi. then it comes back up with 80004002, so its kinda just going in circles. ive been tryna work this out for days, and its just not working  x

This problem seems to be related also to Windows Live Sign-in assistant, so reinstall it (trough its .msi) or remove it completely without reinstalling. Then, reinstall also Contacts.msi.

it works for me and it didnt ask to update Windows Live (Version 2008)
