1. when in a mass conversation, theres no sound when someone posts a message. works fine in 1 to 1 conversations tho.

2. when you change the colour scheme ( bottom part ) for WLM 2009 to black, its really white. And its really bright in my opinion. Is there anyway to make it greyish or something like that.

3. This isn't really a problem but, the green square surrounding your display picture, it cant be changed into another colour right?

2. This cannot be changed, i recall a patch previously making the colours more identified in previous versions but haven't seen this in new versions.
3. No the surrounding colour cannot be changed in the settings as it is linked to the contacts status. Not sure if skins can adjust this but i think they can?

i have noticed it doesnt flash orange down the botton when people reply thats rather irratating lol is their  fix for this ?

If you are using Messenger Plus! Live 4.79 Beta with the new version of Windows Live Messenger then this is a known bug caused by MP!L 4.79 and you can either uninstall 4.79 Beta or wait for the release a little later on today of the 4.80 Beta

hmm still no sound after deselecting. damned.

i have downloaded latest live messenger, whilst i have none of these issues, i am unable to use my webcam as a stand alone unit...the only option i have is video call, which makes talking to more than 1 person on web cam impossible, the option for just webcam has been greyed out, although it is there listed..pls help, unable to chat to my kids when they r not on same pc

yes. i can hear the sounds perfectly fine in 1 to 1 conversations. I just cant hear the sounds in group chats. and yes i have all alerts checked.

I have another problem.
Whenever I see the message that I have new email and I press it, it will get me to the italian?? hotmail site and it has italian advertisements but WLM is english...Any ideas?

Have you tried changing the options in your hotmail? There is a button top right which lets you choose your language.

Yes, but if I close it and reopen it, I have it again italian!
And if I press help, more information even the advertisement at bottom of WLM 2009 it takes me to italian pages...
Also my regional settings in my PC are correct!
