Hi,
Me and some friends have encountered this problem on several computers. It seems that WLM will not show a tray icon but only as a bar in the taskbar.

As you can see there's the "Thijs (Available)" and "Windows Live Messe..." buttons. However when you close the main messenger window the left button will just stay there in the taskbar. And nothing will show up in the tray. When you close the button messenger closes.
Anybody got experience with this and how to fix it?

By your screenshot I think you're using Win7.
