If you may not draw money from the paypal account from your mom, how are you going to use that paypal account then to buy back Halo3, even if somebody transfers 11 pounds to that paypal account for you and how are you going to pay it back then (which again means you need to put 11 pounds on the paypal to send it back to the 'invester')?
My paypal account is linked to my Visa, which on its turn is linked to my normal bank account. But I dunno if you can get Visa at 16 (although it takes some responsebility you probably can get it somewhere from some bank, dunno, but still, it takes a while to get one anyhow).
PS: not that I don't want you to loan 11 pounds, I'm just worried you might get in some trouble doing stuff your mom doesn't want you to do.

You can get a debit card at the age of 16, which is just linked to any normal bank account..although in that case you should use the bank account as the primary funding source.
If your mum's let you have her bank account on paypal then surely she won't mind you using it for that exact purpose as long as you pay her the money?
And if she's that uptight about it, then switch to using paypal through your own bank account....or pay by alternative means?
or alternatively, wait until ur 18 to use ebay instead of breaking the rules

Get a debit card, I got a Visa card at your age and it makes online shopping and managing money significantly easier.

HSBC Livecash cards (could have been renamed in the last 6 years =/) are good for if you can use solo. Otherwise something like a Bank Account Plus card (Maestro) will work pretty much everywhere, although it's £13 a month. I think all banks pretty much give you solo cards at that age, but not everywhere accepts them

I have 2 Mastercards, both prepaid though. They work epicly for PayPal and Ebay, and sites that require Credit Card (such as OVH, for my server)

....11 years? WTF! And then they are surprised that a lot of teenagers these days are in debt even before they turn 18 or are in a payment plan until they're 40 or that they don't learn to save money (and learn to work for their money)................/ranting off

*unless you have an overdraft, but banks will only give one if you have a steady income, and i think you have to be over 18

If your under 18 it's locked to debit only and if you use switch or anything you can only use they money in your account with no overdrafts.
In the UK anyway.
