Hey, I updated messenger to the Windows Live Messenger 9.0 14.0.8064.0206 version and skins doesn't work is that msgplus need an update or skins need update aswell too?

Versions:
Windows XP Service Pack 3 (5.1.2600)
Windows Live Messenger 14.0.0206
Messenger Plus! Live 4.80.0.356
Skin: Wave 3 Toast 1.0.0

ALSO there is a skin compatible BUT doesnt work on new released version of messenger version was relesed yesterday source: http://www.liveside.net/main/archive/2009/02/12/w...ade-available.aspx

The skins need to be updated to be compatible with that version of Windows Live Messenger.

The author just need to add few lines to make it compatible, wait for an update

Not necessarily. Small changes like this one are suppsoed to be transparent for most skins.

Using a Build restriction in your Messenger 9 skins was mainly because of the never ending betas of this new Messenger. Now that the final release is out, you can work normally and just stick to Major/Minor for most cases as build changes aren't supposed to affect the windows in a way that would break a skin.

But MenthiX told us to use the "Build" number in our skins...
So, whoever added the "Build" number will now need to update every block of resources that contains it. =P
(btw, Guèna released and update to his skin already, and so have I. Willz's were already prepared for that, I guess, so Ev0 still works.)

The "build" string =P
Just wait skins to be updated or do it by yourself. (opening Skins folders, finding the SkinInfo.xml, and remove Build/Revision restrictions...)

When i mean Default look for Logon windows I mean to have THE SAME STYLE that you use on the default contact list on the Logon window.

Oh, that thing.
Just use the "Default" background, it's the original one from Logon        Window.
Contact list default is wave 3's background with a yellow detail at the bottom.

I would like to have that wave 3 background with yellow detail at the bottom on the Logon screen
