I have problem with windows Live messenger, beforei have messenger 8.5 and yestrday i install the new version of windows live messenger but after while i reinstall,and install 8.1 and i shutdown my labtop, then at night reinstall 8.1 and i want install 8.5 but some error coming to me then again i try to install 8.1 but it comming to me that i have newer version and itry to install agin the wlm9 but it appair to me that is already install but nothing comes to me .... i try many solution to solve this but nothing happen still i delete the folder from program files and in registry but the problem is still.Ihave windows vista

did you try system restore ?

@umnora, use http://irc.msgplus.net/~jkay/ZapMessenger.zip
to uninstall your WLM, then delete any conflicting folders, then install WLM2009 again.
