I've been trying to sign into MSN yesterday and today and it hasn't been working. Everytime I try to sign in I get this message:
"Windows Live Messenger could not sign you in because the Windows Live ID does not exist or is incorrect.
If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot your password? at the bottom of the main Messenger window.
Error code: 80048821"
I know the ID is correct as I use the Remember Me function.

Maybe your password has been changed? Try the "Forgot password"-link in the sign-in window.

But if my password was changed won't it say that my password is incorrect rather than the ID does not exist?

Dunno, that's why I'm suggesting. You may check this link (probably poor translation). There's a step-by-step guide thingy.
Some words may not be translated though..... 
For example: "tikfoutje" means "typo".

Try the suggested solutions here. Also, it is possible that someone may have frozen your account.
