Can someone please help me (and some mates)
We feel like doing something a little unique so we removed our current Windows Live Messengers and installed the public beta from 2008. We used a tool called Resource Hacker to edit the version number to allow sign in. Everything works fine but Messenger Plus! isn't compatable with it. I remember when the beta was released, an unsupported version of Plus! was also released that was compatable with the beta version. I can no longer find this version and do not remember the version number. Help / a download would be much appreciated!

Plus! was never compatible with the Public Beta... only with the Release candidate/Final, right?

I deffo had plus working with it, there was a message below the download button on the plus website that said something along the lines of "If you are a user of the windows live 2009 beta, download this version" And then after, that the message changed for the rc release and then a final version was created that removed beta support! I'm sure!
