I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I just noticed that when I was chatting with a friend the winks on the conversation bar was not highlighted it was showing the last time I chatted and when I checked again not long ago it was show when another person was on line but not with other contacts.

can you post a screenshot of the conversation window where winks were not showing?

it may be that the contact was on yahoo, or on a web service that doesn't support winks and so the button gets greyed out or removed

Hi thanks for the reply. I can't do the screenshot it will not let me. Second the winks were working the last time I was chatting with them and that was last week. So what happened between this week and last I don't understand why it is not showing. Thanks again

to do a screenshot press the 'print screen' button on your keyboard, then open paint and press 'Edit' and 'Paste'

Then save the file and upload it as an attachment to your message here
