Hi, i was just wondering does Messenger Plus actually have that Trojan like Mcafee says?

No. Messenger Plus! has an optional sponsor program. This program used to be provided by C2Media (which has incidents in the past of malicious software) HOWEVER this is not the case for Messenger Plus!. Patchou researched and made them remove anything that could potentially be harmful to his userbase.
Currently there is an Ask.com sponsor which if I am not mistaken is only prompted if you do not have the previous sponsor installed.

Ok thanks, i know this is probably stupid cos they probably have.. but has it contacted Mcafee to like look into changing it then?

I dont doubt this. Patchou had us sign a petition to support him against microosft:

Yep, I have contacted Mcafee many times about this, asking to at the ver least be marked "Yellow" and I never even got an answer. Those AV companies really are nice fellows, they don't even listen to their own users (check the comments on site advisor).
