hey,
I am having problems with instant messaging contacts who appear offline but are actually connected......they simply do not receive my messages....i can be typing all day to them and nothing happens......only when they write to me then for some reason I am once again able to communicate with them for a little.....if i stop typing in their window for some time then the problem starts again.....when i type to them none of my messages get through to them.
i generally do not have problems typing to contacts who appear as "connected" but sometimes it happens when both me and my contact are online....i will type to them but they do not receive all of my instant messages. Its very frustrating.
I had an older version of messenger plus live when the problem first started so I decided to update to the newest version of messenger plus live in hopes that the problem would be solved but nope....problem still exists.....i think im using windows live messenger version 6.0....before the problem started i did not install any new software or hardware....the only thing that i can think of that might be of some consequence is that i delete about 8GB worth of information from my hard drive....but i don't see how that could affect anything....

I am having the same problem! I'm finding a lot of other people who are having it also but NO solution or reason. What is this?!! I'm not receiving my Instant Messages until the NEXT time I signin to Messenger. Also, I no longer receive an Alert when I receive a message in Hotmail. If you find anything out, please let me know. Thanks. Lisa
P.S. I have the same problem in my version 2008 at home and with 2009 at work.

This has got nothing todo with Messenger Plus! and thus doesn't belong in Bug Reports.
If there is a problem regarding messages not recieving then it is a bug in Windows Live Messenger itself. As such, this stuff should be reported to MS itself, not here.
You can do this by going to the menu 'Help' > 'Send Feedback' in Windows Live Messenger. Fill everything in as detailed as possible.
The same with the stuff Lisa reports; nothing todo with Messenger Plus!.
