I'm using Ctrl+Space to lock and Ctrl+Shift+Space to unlock. But after unlocking, the icon (pinned in the taskbar) doesn't show the status indicator anymore. I have to change my status in order to make it appear. RE: Lock messenger and Windows 7 by Patchou on 07-04-2009 at 03:16 PM I'm not sure I understand the problem exactly, can you give more details? (a screenshot maybe?). RE: Lock messenger and Windows 7 by Chancer on 07-04-2009 at 03:43 PM

Messenger Lock isn't working with me on windows 7 RE: Lock messenger and Windows 7 by robert_dll on 07-08-2009 at 04:08 PM

(start > shutdown menu > lock, or windowskey+L) RE: Lock messenger and Windows 7 by robert_dll on 07-08-2009 at 05:30 PM What if you are supossed to be working or doing anything else and not chatting? Lock workstation isn't useful there. RE: Lock messenger and Windows 7 by ShawnZ on 07-08-2009 at 05:31 PM
quote: er, then messenger lock is useless anyway, since you could just unlock it? RE: Lock messenger and Windows 7 by robert_dll on 07-08-2009 at 05:34 PM Afaik, messenger lock is there so that you can hide messenger immediatly if you don't want anyone to notice you are chatting, for example your boss at work, or your teacher at school RE: Lock messenger and Windows 7 by Chancer on 07-14-2009 at 05:54 PM
I noticed that the same problem happens when explorer crashes. RE: Lock messenger and Windows 7 by Volv on 07-14-2009 at 11:21 PM
