I get a black screen on the play & win window...

yep, some (including me) obviously have some problems with the contest window, it's completely white here..

(see Competition problem)

is it always like this for you or does it happen only sometimes?

Im getting the same thing. I click the 'Play & Win' icon. Its gui pops up and the loading cursor comes up. Goes white, then as soon as it goes black the loading stops. I have also disabled all my security and tried it and it still don't work. Also i have no scripts or skins.

OS: Windows XP
Internet Connection: 100mbps
Security
Bitdefender
SpySweeper
Windows firewall
Flash & Shockwave are installed btw

It's also happening with me, but the following message appears: Scripting needs to be enabled in Internet Explorer to participate to the contest. 

Then enable scripting:

1) Close the contest windows if you have them open. And close any other MSIE window you might have (best thing todo is to close every program to make sure)
2) Open Microsoft Internet Explorer.
3) On the Tools menu, click Internet Options and then click the Security tab.
4) Select the Internet zone.
5) Click on Custom Level.
6) In the 'Security Settings – Internet Zone' dialog box, navigate to the Scripting section.
7) Under Active Scripting (first sub selection), select the Enable box.
8) Press 'ok' to go back to the Internet Options.
9) Press 'ok' again to close the Internet Options.
10) Close Microsoft Internet Explorer.
11) Open the contest windows again.

in short:
In MSIE > Tools > Inernet Options > Security tab > Internet zone > Custom Level > Scripting > Active Scripting > Enable
