Aside from the usual Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel is there a more aggressive method of completely wiping out all traces of WLM in a WinXP Pro SP3 PC? What folders/files and/or registry entries must be deleted? The idea is to be able to do a clean reinstallation of WLM as if the hard drive would've been formatted. Thanks. you can use Zap Messenger, it will remove all components of Windows Live Messenger, MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger 5.x. RE: Clean uninstalling WLM by alegator on 08-02-2009 at 09:00 AM Thanks for your replies, I just upgraded to WLM2009 with no problems so far, without needing to do an agressive uninstall, just the regular uninstall from the Add/Remove Programs applet.
