I already have the latest windows live messenger on all my computers. I recently bought a new laptop with vista. It already had all the microsoft software installed including the latest messenger. When i signed on, all my contact were there but not their display pictures and personal messages.  You know when your contacts are offline, it still shows their picture and personal message, well on this computer, it only shows their email address as their name and no picture.

On my older laptop, it shows their display picture and recent personal message for both online and offline contacts. That laptop is the same version as the new one.

Why is it that when I use my new computer, none of the information and pictures show? I've been searching online for answers and I have yet to find an answer.

Can anyone help me?
