I also have this problem. Windows XP 64-bit is the only operating not supported by this "Windows Live Essentials" thing, and you're forced to use Essentials, even if you didn't want to. This was a random download prompt that has since blocked my being able to use MSN too. This is the only place I could find that was talking about this recent happening. No prompt to download the new Essentials or anything. I guess Microsoft turned off that flag or something for us XP 64-bit users? |
