Hey guys

I'm trying to help out a fairly computer illiterate friend with some data recovery.

She accidentally deleted a folder containing 12 gigs of photos, then when she realised she went into the recycle bin and hit restore on the folder, but the folder is now empty.  (At least this is what she told me what happened)

I tried searching on google but most of the data recovery software I found is either demo only unless you pay or doesnt work properly on vista.

So does anyone know of any good, preferably free, data recovery software that is simple to use so that she can install it herself and be able to get something back without me looking over her shoulder the whole time?
